What is the Engine Oil Life System (OLS)?
Most Chevrolet, GMC, and Buick vehicles are equipped with the engine Oil Life System (OLS). This system interprets your vehicle’s speed and engine temperature and continuously monitors operating conditions—which helps determine when it’s time for an oil change.
