I learned today that "free oil changes for life with the purchase of a new vehicle" really aren't free. They just defer collecting those payments until the 25, 50, 75, and 100 thousand mile service is due. I was told to pay 950.00 for a 50,000 mile service in order to save maybe 99.00 next year on my next oil change. Really! I refused and paid for my oil change.
