I am writing to share my recent experience with the service performed on my 2019 Yukon SLT XL. During my last oil change, I was informed that my oil pressure should not dip below the 18 marks. I brought the vehicle in due to an issue where the oil pressure would fluctuate, dropping below 18 marks, and causing noticeable shaking while idling in drive at a complete stop with a temperature approximately 210 degrees. Per the invoice, I was charged $3,260.00 for the following services: • Replacement of the driver-side engine mount. • Resealing of the upper oil pan and oil pan replacement. • Oil change • 4-wheel alignment. Additionally, I had to pay for a rental car out of pocket for three days because the required part was not available, which added to the overall inconvenience and cost of this service. After receiving my vehicle back, I drove it, and within a few days, the oil pressure dropped to around the 15 mark again, accompanied by light shaking. While the shaking is less severe than before, the primary issue that prompted my visit has not been fully resolved. The oil pressure and light shaking do not happen on a regular basis. I have owned vehicles from Acura (Harnish), Honda (South Tacoma), and Subaru (Harnish), and in every instance where a service required more than a day, a courtesy vehicle was provided free of charge. I find it disappointing that this standard of customer care was not extended in this case, especially considering the significant amount spent on repairs. I was hesitant to respond to the dealership’s review request due to concerns about potential retaliation. However, I feel it is essential to provide candid feedback about my experience to ensure improvements are made where necessary.
